Use Horizontal for stacked rows, Vertical for side-by-side columns, Grid for equal rows and columns, and Exact tile size when every output needs a particular pixel width and height. Check the cut lines before creating files.
ViewerPix keeps the source pixels. With grid or row and column splits, edge pieces can differ by a pixel when the dimensions do not divide exactly. With Exact tile size, the final edge pieces can be smaller than the requested tile size.
Yes. After generating pieces, choose Split again on any result. That piece becomes the current source and can be split again as many times as needed.
Yes. Use Back one level to return to the previous source and its split settings.
Yes. Choose another image directly from the splitter workspace.
Yes. ViewerPix prevents a single split from creating more than 400 tiles. Reduce the number of rows and columns or use a larger tile size when you reach that limit.
PNG is useful for text and transparency, JPG is useful for photos but fills transparency with white, and WebP can balance size and quality. The quality setting applies to JPG and WebP.
The ZIP contains the pieces in the current split level. You can also download any piece individually, including a piece from an earlier or later split level.
No. Splitting, repeated splitting, and ZIP creation run locally in your browser. Very large images can exceed the browser limit of about 120 million pixels, and damaged or unsupported encodings can fail to open.
ViewerPix processes the source image and creates tiles locally in your browser. The image is not uploaded to an application server.
